最近，阿斯頓馬丁公司宣布，將與美國新能源汽車lucid合作，聯合打造專注于性能的新能源汽車。雙方已經達成了供應協議，lucid將會為阿斯頓馬丁提供動力系統和電池系統。
此前，阿斯頓馬丁的汽油跑車，主要使用的奔馳發動機，梅賽德斯奔馳持有該公司9.7%的股份。但是在電驅領域，雙方都沒有特別適合阿斯頓馬丁的產品。所以阿斯頓馬丁與lucid的合作在情理之中。
就在本月初，前集度汽車副總裁朱江加入lucid并宣布該公司在為進入中國市場做準備。
