Bimed / Hazardous Cable Glands / Single Compression Cable Glands / Crater
Group II stuffing type hazardous area cable gland, suitable for non-armoured cables (or braided cables where the braid and outer sheath pass into the enclosure, and the requirements of 60079-14 are met.)
The Crater is Exe, Exd and Ext certified and suitable for installation in zones 1/21 and zones 2/22 hazardous areas.
The gland provides both a flameproof seal on the cable outer sheath which also provides IP and cable retention.
ATEX/IECEx certified along with various other approvals - see below for full technical details.
Available in brass, nickel plated brass, stainless steel or aluminium with both Metric and NPT threadbs.
